In response to your letter yesterday, I would be pleased to endorse your firm as a competent and reliable general contractor.

In the College's most recent building project, in 1994/95, your firm acted as the general contractor for the construction of our new Fitness Centre and addition to the Student Union Building. The total contract for the completed work was $5,647,000 for approximately 56,300 square feet of floor area.

The project was somewhat unique in that it was tendered using a "modified" Design Build process, which, as we all know, requires much more coordination and attention to budget. Your firm worked effectively and cooperatively, in a team approach, with the architect, consultants and sub-trades, to bring the project to a successful completion.

In summary, the College would certainly consider the John Hayman & Sons Company for future construction work and would be pleased to act as a reference for you to others.
